| After checking in to our Hotel, The Paradise Inn, we found some of our team members and started getting acquainted -- what a wonderful group of friends to share a great experience with! My brother-in-law, Don Overstreet was the leader of our team, which included members of the Vine Church in Rancho Cucamonga and NorthPark Community Church,as well as Gary and I (the only members from Northern California) and Dr Rodney Harrison, Church Planting Professor at Midwestern Baptist Seminary in Kansas City who was also a team leader. | Don provided the sermon at the quarterly Baptist Conference on Sunday. There are nine Baptist churches on the island and they all get together every 3 months for a service and meeting. We rode over tiny, winding roads for about 2 hours to get to the far side of the island to attend the service. |
